In terms of location, amenities, value, and quality of life, Highlands View is truly the “Best Kept Secret in Cobb County.”Constructed from 2002-2005, Highlands View is a private community of 193 townhouses located in Smyrna, GA.  The community is conveniently located less than a mile off of Interstate 285 (the Perimeter) at the South Cobb Drive exit (Exit 15, GA-280) in the Highlands Park commercial area.  Highlands View is minutes away from the Buckhead, Midtown, Vinings, and Downtown areas of Atlanta, excellent shopping and restaurants, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield, and the Silver Comet Trail.

The community is exquisitely landscaped and terraced.  Many homes have private decks and exceptional views.  The community is built on a small lake and has a park where people can enjoy the natural beauty.  The large pool and deck area is adjacent to the lake as well.

This Beazer-built community is made up of one and two car garage homes with four different elevations, including homes with bay windows, Juliet windows, and picture windows.  All end units are three-sides brick while interior units are sided in back.  All units have decks off of the main living level.  Homes range from 1,900 square feet to 3,000 square feet, have three or four stories, and have such features as standard gas fireplaces, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, laundry areas, hardwood floors, and finished bonus rooms.

The low monthly HOA fee pays for individual household water use (cooking and bathing), landscape maintenance, pool maintenance, garbage pick-up, sprinklers, and much more.  By virtue of being in a commercial area, there is not a lot of traffic through the community.  However, homeowners live less than two miles from the East-West Connector and less than a mile from South Cobb Drive, Atlanta Road, and the Perimeter.
